Common use of Union Delegate Training Leave Clause in Contracts

Union Delegate Training Leave. (a) Union delegates shall be entitled to up to 6 days of training, subject to the approval of the General Manager Employee Relations, which are directed at the enhancement of the skills and effectiveness of Union delegates.

(a) Union Xxxx elected union delegates shall be entitled are eligible to attend up to 6 five (5) days’ paid leave per annum to attend training courses conducted by the Union, up to a maximum of twenty (20) paid days of training, per annum across all delegates. Such training does not accrue if not used each year. This will be subject to reasonable notice of a minimum of fourteen (14) days being given to the approval company. The Company will reasonably consider all requests and on the basis of being satisfied with course content and ability to release the General Manager Employee Relations, which are directed at the enhancement of the skills and effectiveness of Union delegatesdelegate with minimal impact to operations.
