Union Membership/Activity. Each employee in the bargaining unit shall have the right to join the Union and, while off work or on official release time, assist the Union freely, without fear of penalty or reprisal, and the University shall take all reasonable measures necessary to ensure that each employee shall be protected in the exercise of such right.
