Accident Leave. 22.1 Transport of injured employees - Where the accident is work-related and the injury sustained by the employee necessitates immediate removal to a hospital, or to a medical practitioner for medical attention and then to their residence or a hospital, or to their residence (medical attention away from the residence not being required), the employer is to provide or arrange for the necessary transport, pay all reasonable expenses for meals and lodging incurred by or on behalf of the employee during the period she/he is transported, and claim reimbursement from ACC. 22.2 Where an employee has no sick leave and is off work due to a work related accident, the employer will give favourable consideration to providing additional leave. 22.3 The employer may agree to reimburse employees for treatment and other expenses or for financial disadvantage incurred as a result of a work related accident. This agreement will be on a case by case basis.
Accident Leave. 5.13.1 Accident leave is granted pursuant to the Accident Compensation Act 2001. 5.13.2 The Employer will continue to pay Employees who are absent from work due to a work related accident for up to 6 months from the date of the accident. Working days during the first week after the accident will be on special paid accident leave. Thereafter, one day of sick leave shall be deducted for each week of absence (to make up the difference between earnings related compensation and basic salary). Where there is no sick leave entitlement, the Employer will grant special paid accident leave.

Accident LeaveIn the case of accidents which occur to faculty during the working hours and/or while they are carrying out professional responsibilities, the District agrees to maintain maximum allowable coverage under current provisions of workmen's compensation legislation. The District further agrees to review each such accident case on an individual basis with the possibility of providing an uninterrupted salary for the faculty involved. The District shall provide necessary information and forms to the faculty who is filing a claim under the Workers' Compensation Act.

Accident Leave. Accident Leave for employees covered by this MOU is governed by USM Policy VII - 7.40 Policy on Accident Leave for Exempt and Nonexempt Personnel, approved by the Board of Regents, May 1, 1992; amended November 12, 1993, amended December 13, 1996 and is subject to all terms and conditions set forth therein.

This leave shall be taken as a charge against Accident Leave. 22.4 The employer may agree to reimburse employees for treatment and other expenses or for financial disadvantage incurred as a result of a work related accident. This agreement will be on a case by case basis.
Accident LeaveIn case of any accident or injury arising out of and in the course of employment, and while the teacher is acting pursuant to Board policy, the involved teacher shall make every effort to report to the principal within forty-eight (48) hours and shall make every effort to file a written report with the Superintendent within seven (7) days of such accident or injury. The Board shall continue the teacher’s wages in full until Worker’s Compensation payments begin; and after such payments begin, the Board shall pay the difference between Worker’s Compensation payments and the contractual salary of the teacher for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days. During this thirty (30) day period all such payments shall be without a reduction in accumulated sick leave of the teacher. This Paragraph shall cease to be effective on such date as the teacher shall qualify for disability benefits under the Illinois Teachers’ Retirement System.
Accident Leave. For each injury where an employee’s absence is due to a work or a non-work accident ACC shall make up the balance of pay between the 80% of weekly compensation that the ACC scheme covers and the rate of ordinary pay for a period of three months, subject to the provisions of clauses below.
