Union Membership and Service Fee. Within the first thirty (30) days of employment, all employees subject to this Agreement shall be required to either: (1) join and remain a member of the Union or (2) pay a service fee in lieu of membership dues.

Union Membership and Service Fee. All employees subject to this Agreement presently employed by Legal Aid on the execution date of this Agreement, shall be required as a condition of employment to either: (1) join and remain a member of the Union; or (2) in the alternative, pay to the Union a fee for services rendered by the Union in an amount equivalent to regular membership dues. All new employees subject to this Agreement first employed by Legal Aid after the execution date of this Agreement shall, as a condition of employment, either: (1) join and remain a member of the Union within thirty (30) days after employment, or (2) in the alternative, pay to the Union, commencing within thirty (30) days after employment, a fee for services rendered by the Union in an amount equivalent to regular membership dues.
