Common use of Unpaid Leave for Family Purpose Clause in Contracts

Unpaid Leave for Family Purpose. An employee may elect, with the consent of the employer, to take unpaid leave for the purpose of providing care and support to a member of a class of person set out in subclause 22 (c) (ii).

Unpaid Leave for Family Purpose. An employee (including casual employees) may elect, with the consent of the employer, to take unpaid leave for the purpose of providing care and support to a member of a class of person set out within this clause who is ill. This will also include unpaid Carer’s Leave in subclause 22 (c) (ii)accordance with the AFPC standard.
