Unpaid Sick Leave and Personal Leave. Unpaid leaves of absence that do not qualify under FMLA regulations may be granted for illness (physical or mental, disability or personal reasons). A doctor's certificate will be required for illness or disability leave. The employee applying for said leave shall set forth in writing the reasons the leave is requested and submit the request to the Board of Directors.
