Common use of Use of Personal Holiday for Family Care Clause in Contracts

Use of Personal Holiday for Family Care. Upon request, an employee will be approved to use part or all of their personal holiday for the care of family members as required by the Family Care Act, WAC 296-130. Any portion of a personal holiday that remains will be taken by the employee in one (1) absence, not to exceed the work shift on the day of the absence, subject to the request and approval as described in Subsections B, C, and D above.
