Use of Sick Leave for Adoption. A teacher may request to use up to thirty (30) days of accumulated sick leave for adoption, without access to the Extended Illness Sick Leave Pool to assist in preparation and legal reasons of the adoption, as well as necessary travel and initial adjustment of the child. These days need not be taken consecutively.
