Vacancies and Assignment of Hours. SECTION 11.1 OPEN POSITIONS‌ The Employer’s policy is to seek to promote from within prior to recruitment from outside the agency. In order to ensure that all interested employees are advised of employment opportunities, job announcements for vacant promotional opportunities will be posted on bulletin boards designated by the Employer. In addition, information about all job vacancies will be available to employees by calling the office and on the website of the Employer, if feasible. All regular full and part time vacancies will be posted and filled in accordance with the non-discrimination provisions of this Agreement. Postings will include position requirements, minimum qualifications, substitute and preferred qualifications (if any) and base rate of pay.

  • Contractor Changes and Assignment (a) The Contractor shall notify the Agency in writing:

  • Subcontract and Assignment This Agreement binds the heirs, successors, assigns and representatives of the Contractor. The Contractor shall not enter into subcontracts for any work contemplated under this Agreement and shall not assign this Agreement or monies due or to become due, without the prior written consent of the General Manager of the Agency or his designee, subject to any required state or federal approval.   • ASSIGNMENT/DELEGATION The Contract shall be binding upon and ensure to the benefit of the City and the Contractor and their respective successors and assigns, provided however, that no right or interest in the Contract shall be assigned and no obligation shall be delegated by the Contractor without the prior written consent of the City. Any attempted assignment or delegation by the Contractor shall be void unless made in conformity with this paragraph. The Contract is not intended to confer rights or benefits on any person, firm or entity not a party hereto; it being the intention of the parties that there are no third party beneficiaries to the Contract.

  • Notification of Assignments Assignments and schedules for the following year shall be made by the last working day of the teacher's work year.
