Vacancy Defined. A vacancy shall be defined as: a. A newly created bargaining unit position that the Board intends to fill. b. An existing bargaining unit position that the Board intends to fill after all transfers have been accommodated. c. A change in building assignment for a paraprofessional who is assigned to a particular student, or a food service employee who is transferred to the same job in a different building, shall not be considered vacancies.
