Common use of Vacation Pay Prorated Clause in Contracts

Vacation Pay Prorated. ‌ As annual vacation is taken in the calendar year in which it is earned, vacation pay at current salary or percent of gross earnings shall be prorated based upon the hours (for part-time regular) and/or the period worked. Employees who complete only part of the year due to termination, leaves, etc. and who have taken a vacation shall be required to reimburse Vancity for any overpayment received.
