Vacation Period and Minimum Vacation a) For the purposes of this Agreement, the vacation period shall run July 1st to June 30th. Employees, during the first (1st.) calendar year of service, shall accumulate one (1) working day for each completed month of employment or major fraction thereof, to a maximum of ten (10) working days. Employees shall receive an annual vacation equivalent to the accumulated working days at the employee’s regular rate of pay or four percent (4%) of the employee’s annual gross earnings, whichever is greater. Employees who have been employed far less than a twelve 2) month period, but are on the payroll at July shall be considered to have completed their first (1st) calendar year of service.

  • Vacation Period ‌ The choice of vacation periods shall be granted to employees on the basis of seniority with the Employer except where the period requested would be detrimental to the operation of the Employer.

  • Vacation Periods Vacation schedules will be set by the employee’s immediate supervisor(s) and sent to the Office of Human Resources for approval. Employees may request a particular period for vacation. Vacation days may not be taken in advance of their accrual. Those employees who are on a 12-month teacher contract are paid during Spring Break and Winter Recess, however, are not expected to be in attendance or perform duties during those breaks.

  • Prime Time Vacation Period Subject to the provisions of this article, it is the intent of the parties that no employee will be restricted in the time of year they choose to take their vacation. The Employer will make every effort to allow employees to take their vacation during the period of April 15th to October 15th inclusive, which will be defined as the prime time vacation period.

  • Weeks Vacation Subject to Article 17.08 and Article 17.01 (a) (ii), employees shall be entitled to take five (5) weeks vacation leave with pay during the first and subsequent complete fiscal years following the date in which they complete fourteen (14) years of service. Such leave shall be earned at the rate of two and one-twelfth (2 1/12) days for each completed calendar month of service.

  • Annual Vacation Auxiliary employees will be entitled to receive annual vacation at the rate of four percent (4%) of their regular earnings. After one thousand (1,000) days worked, auxiliary employees will be entitled to receive annual vacation at the rate of six percent (6%) of their regular earnings.

  • ANNUAL LEAVE (VACATION) A. Annual Leave days may be accumulated to a maximum of thirty (30) work days.

  • Annual Vacation Leave 30.01 An Employee shall not take vacation leave without prior authorization from the Employer.

  • Unbroken Vacation Period An Employee shall receive an unbroken period of vacation unless mutually agreed upon between the Employee and the Employer.

  • SECTION 4 - VACATION 4.1 Employee shall be entitled to accrue and take vacation leave in accordance with the policy applicable to employees of Manitoba.

  • Annual Vacation Pay Vacation pay shall be paid at the regular hourly rate of the Nurse in effect immediately prior to the Nurse taking vacation.
