Vacation Period Selection. 9.2.3.1 An Employee has the right to select a vacation period, and may take it in a continuous period or in segments at the option of the Employee subject to a schedule established by the Department, with notification to the Xxxx. The annual vacation period shall be calculated exclusive of Christmas, Spring and Term break periods. The annual vacation schedule shall be subject to the essential requirements of the Department as determined by the Department. Any disputes over requirements shall be referred to the Labour/Management Committee.
