Vacation Rights in Case of Layoff or Separation. Any employee who is laid off, retired or who voluntarily quits prior to taking his vacation shall be compensated in cash for the unused vacation he has properly accumulated but not used at the time of separation. Payment shall generally be made within thirty (30) days of separation from active employment, or sooner, when practical.

Vacation Rights in Case of Layoff or Separation. Any employee who is laid off, retired retires or who voluntarily quits is otherwise separated from the service of the Employer for any reason shall receive vacation pay for all unused vacation accrued prior to taking his said separation. Payment for unused vacation shall be compensated calculated based upon the employee's regular, straight-time, hourly rate of pay in cash for effect on the unused vacation he has properly accumulated but not used at the time date of separation. Payment shall generally be made within thirty (30) days of separation from active employment, or sooner, when practical.
