In addition to the quality assurance efforts provided by Provider, the State may perform validation and verification activities over key projects and operational processes. The functions designated above as retained authorities and primary responsibilities of the State will be performed by State staff and/or independent consultants hired directly by the State as IV&V contractors. The Provider testing shall be sufficiently rigorous to identify any faults or deficiencies that are reasonably discoverable and Provider shall be required to remedy any faults or deficiencies identified during such Provider testing and retest the Deliverable in accordance with this clause to verify that the fault or deficiency has been successfully remedied and that there are no other deficiencies.

Validation and Verification. (Val/Ver) Review The purpose of the Val/Ver review is to ensure that the manual is complete. At this time, Government subject matter experts review the publication for any discrepancies or inconsistencies.

Such third party Validation and Verification may occur at various times throughout the XXX creation process, including after XXX Creation Activities have occurred. In determining the final available Emission Reduction Benefits to be made available to Blue Source, any offsetting emission increases in other substances believed to contribute to climate change and resulting from the same XXX Creation Activities must be netted out of the total Emission Reduction Benefits created by such XXX Creation Activities. At any time during the Term, Blue Source, in its sole discretion, may conduct a Project Feasibility Evaluation. If any Project Feasibility Evaluation determines that the Project will not generate sufficient tons in a given year, Blue Source, in its sole discretion, in lieu of Termination, may defer Verification of any or all of the ERBs until such time as sufficient tonnes are generated from current and prior vintages, but such deferral shall be limited to two (2) consecutive years.
