Common use of Variation of period of parental leave Clause in Contracts

Variation of period of parental leave. Where an employee takes leave under clause 42.2.1 or 42.4.1(b) unless otherwise agreed between the employer and employee, an employee may apply to their employer to change the period of parental leave on one occasion. Nothing in this clause detracts from the basic entitlement in clause 42.2 27.6 - Basic Entitlement or 42.427.8 – Right to request.

Nothing in this clause detracts from the basic entitlement in clause 42.2 or 42.48.3.
