Common use of Variation of period of parental leave Clause in Contracts

Variation of period of parental leave. (a) Provided the maximum period of parental leave does not exceed the period to which the employee is entitled under clause 2.2.3: (i) the period of parental leave provided clause 2.2.3(b) may be lengthened once only by the employee giving not less than 14 days notice in writing stating the period by which the leave is to be lengthened; (ii) the period may be further lengthened by agreement between the employer and the employee. (b) The period of parental leave taken under clause 2.2.3(b) may, with the consent of the employer, be shortened by the employee giving not less than 14 days notice in writing stating the period by which the leave is to be shortened.

Variation of period of parental leave. (a) Provided So long as the maximum period of parental leave does not exceed the period to which the employee Employee is entitled under clause 2.2.3:D1.3; (i) the period of parental leave provided clause 2.2.3(b) may be lengthened once only by the employee Employee giving to Xxxxx Xxxxx not less than 14 days days’ notice in writing stating the period by which the leave is to be lengthened;; and (ii) the period may be further lengthened by agreement between the employer Xxxxx Xxxxx and the employeeEmployee. (b) The period of parental leave taken under clause 2.2.3(b) may, with the consent of the employerXxxxx Xxxxx, be shortened by the employee Employee giving to Xxxxx Xxxxx not less than 14 days days’ notice in writing stating the period by which the leave is to be shortened.

(b) 28.8.2 The period of parental leave taken under clause 2.2.3(b) 28.4.2 hereof may, with the consent of the employerEmployer, be shortened by the employee giving not less than 14 days days' notice in writing stating the period by which the leave is to be shortened.

(b) The period of parental leave taken under clause 2.2.3(b7.6.4.3(b) may, with the consent of the employer, be shortened by the employee giving not less than 14 days notice in writing stating the period by which the leave is to be shortened.
