Common use of Voluntary On-Call Clause in Contracts

Voluntary On-Call. 17 Employees on a regular work schedule may volunteer to be placed on on-call 18 duty beyond their regularly scheduled work day or work week and may be assigned an 19 answering device for on-call purposes to avail themselves of the opportunity to receive 20 additional pay.
