VOLUNTARY VACATION TRANSFER. By local agreement between Company and Union, employees may voluntarily sell vacation and transfer the proceeds to an employee experiencing a medical emergency (including a medical condition of a family member), who has insufficient leave available to cover their absence from work. In addition, and by local agreement between Company and Union, an employee may also sell vacation for the purpose of relieving personal financial difficulties experienced as a result of a medical emergency in his or her own family even though the employee may have paid leave available.
