WAGE RATES AND JOB CLASSIFICATIONS. 35.01 All full time employees covered by this Agreement shall be paid in accordance with Schedule “A” effective September 11, 2000. 35.02 Notwithstanding the across-the-board increase negotiated between the Company and the Union, the Company and the Union agree that the maximum wage rate paid to any employee during the term of this Collective Agreement shall be the maximum wage rate set out in the wage progression schedules for his classification. 35.03 The job classification and wage rates applicable to the appropriate job classification set forth in this Agreement are mutually agreed upon and shall prevail without change as and from the dates indicated in the wage progression schedules. 35.04 Wage adjustments under the automatic wage progression schedule shall be made quarterly or half yearly where appropriate on the first full pay week of January, April, July and October. Employees will progress in three (3) month steps to a top rate, or six (6) month steps where appropriate. a) Where a new employee commences work within a quarter, he shall immediately receive the appropriate start rate for the position and provided, however, he commences work or is promoted prior to the middle (15th) of the second month within the quarter. WAGE RATES AND JOB CLASSIFICATIONS. 35.01 17.01 The Wage Rates and Job Classifications are set forth in Schedule "A" and remain in effect for the duration of this Agreement. 17.02 The Parties agree that the rates of pay in Schedule A of the current collective agreement meet the requirements of the Pay Equity Act. 17.03 The Employer agrees that the establishment of any new classification shall be on the basis of fairness and equity and will apply to only newly created positions or the revision of present positions where there has been a significant change in responsibilities. The rates established for such new positions shall be based on the rate structure herein. 17.04 For new employees with ten (10) years experience, credit for previous experience will be assessed by the Employer to determine the appropriate relevant salary, which shall not exceed the second step from the top. To qualify ARTICLE 18 NO STRIKES, NO LOCKOUTS 18.01 In view of the orderly procedure established by this Agreement for the quarterly adjustment settling of disputes and the handling of grievances, the Union agrees that, during the lifetime of this Agreement, there will be no strike, picketing, slowdown or stoppage of work, either complete or partial and the Employer agrees that there will be no lockout. 18.02 Should the Union claim that a cessation of work constitutes a lockout, it may take the matter up with the Employer as provided in wages as set out herein full time Step No. 3 of Article VI. 18.03 The Union further agrees that it will not involve any employee of the Employer, or the Employer itself, in any disputes, which may arise between any other Employer and the employees must have worked at least two hundred and eighty (280) hours within the said quarterof such other Employer.

When an employee is transferred from one department to another department and the position to which he is assigned in the new department is higher than the classification of the position he has held in his former department, he shall be placed on receive not less than the wage progression schedule, initiallysalary he received in his previous position for the first three (3) months after the date of such transfer, at which time he shall receive the next higher first rate and then proceed for the classification of his new position that will provide an increase in salary. When an employee requests to be transferred to another position either in his department or another department which has a lower classification than the position he has been holding, such employee shall immediately be reduced to the next higher rate in the wage progression schedule at the time salary of the next quarterly or half yearly increase classification of the position which he has been transferred to. WAGE RATES AND JOB CLASSIFICATIONS. 35.01 All full time ‌ 9.01 Job classifications and the minimum hourly wage rates for all employees covered by this Agreement in the Saskatoon seniority zone shall be paid as set out in Appendix “A” of this Agreement. 9.02 Pay statements are provided electronically. A completely itemized computation of the employee’s pay and overtime hours of work shall be shown conspicuously on. Upon request, employees will be given the opportunity to print off their pay statement using a store computer. 9.03 Classification titles and rates of pay applicable thereto for any new classifications or positions that may be established by the Employer hereafter shall be subject to negotiations and a Supplementary Agreement shall be executed between the Employer and the Union. 9.04 The Employer agrees to equal pay for equal work in accordance with Schedule the provisions of the A” effective September 11, 2000The Saskatchewan Employment Act”. 35.02 9.05 An employee who is required to fill temporarily the classification of a Store Manager or Department Manager for one (1) day or more, shall receive as a minimum the hourly differentials as listed below. It is agreed that a Store or Department Manager’s scheduled days off are not considered for relief pay. Notwithstanding anything in the acrossagreement to the contrary, any employee relieving the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Department Manager or Management Trainee noted in Section 2.02 for a complete week or more will have as a basic work week, forty (40) hours for that week or weeks. Relieving Store Manager – one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per hour above the employee’s regular rate; Relieving First Assistant Manager – one dollar and twenty-thefive cents ($1.25) per hour above the employee’s regular rate; Relieving Head Cashier – one dollar ($1.00) per hour above the employee’s regular rate; Relieving Home Meal Replacement (HMR) Manager, Bakery Manager, Produce Manager, Deli Manager, Meat Manager, Coffee Bar Operator and Second Assistant Manager – seventy-board increase negotiated between five (75¢) cents per hour above the Company and employee’s regular rate; Subject to the Unionabove, the Company and said rates will be effective from the Union agree that first day he is so employed. 9.06 Any employee appointed by the maximum wage rate paid Employer to any act as a Produce, Meat, Deli or Home Replacement (HMR), Floral, or Coffee Bar Department Second will be entitled to a premium of fifty (50¢) per hour for all hours worked or paid. (d) Where an employee is promoted to another classification he shall be placed on the wage progression schedule, initially, at the next higher rate and then proceed to the next higher rate in the wage progression schedule at the time of the next quarterly or half yearly increase and shall progress quarterly or half yearly thereafter. To qualify for the quarterly adjustment in wages as set out herein full time employees must have worked at least two hundred and eighty (280) hours within the said quarter.
