c) The wage rates in Schedule ‘B’ are in compensation for all non-expense related allowances, excluding fares and travel allowancesallowances and other allowances as explicitly provided elsewhere in this agreement and Schedule ‘C”, but including and not limited to: tool allowance, electrical licence margin, disability allowances, special allowances, construction allowances, dirty work allowances, high places allowances, wet places allowances, hot places allowances, underground work allowances, confined spaces allowances, ship repairs allowances and multi-storey allowances.

e) Where an employee commences work on a site or a project, as opposed to the Company’s office or workshop, and is not provided with or offered transport to the site or project by the Company, the employee shall receive an ‘excess allowance of 30 minutes travel per day calculated at ordinary time rates and fares allowance’ allowance as set out in Schedule ‘CB’.
f) Where an employee commences work on a site or a project, as opposed For every day of attendance Monday to the Company’s office or workshop, Friday the employee shall receive an a ‘excess travelling time allowance’ of 30 minutes as set out in Schedule ‘CB’, this excludes RDO’s sick days or holidays.
g) Where an employee is required to perform work at a distant location which requires the employee to reside at a place other than their normal residence, the Company and employee may agree on a living away from home allowance or reimbursement by the Company of reasonable board and lodgings incurred by the employee.
h) Wages shall be paid weekly by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) on a weekday nominated by the Company. Wages due to an employee upon termination shall be paid on the normal weekday pay day.
i) Wages and allowances will be increased as per schedule B, unless otherwise negotiated.

f) Where an employee commences work on a site or a project, as opposed to the Company’s office or workshop, and is not provided with a vehicle or transport to the site or project by the Company, the employee shall receive an ‘excess fares allowance’ as set out in Schedule ‘CB’.
fg) Where an employee commences work on a site site, project or a projectjob, as opposed to the Company’s office or workshop, the employee shall receive an ‘excess travelling time allowance’ in accordance with one of the following subparagraphs:
i. Where the site, project or job is within a 50 kilometre distance of the Company’s office or workshop, the excess travel allowance amount as set out in Schedule ‘CB’; or
ii. Where the site, project or job is outside a 50 kilometre distance of the Company’s office or workshop, an excess travel allowance shall be paid (at the employee’s basic periodic hourly rate of pay) for excess travel time taken to and from the site, project or job; or
iii. Notwithstanding sub-paragraphs (i) and (ii) above, payment for excess travel allowance may be negotiated between the Company and employee(s) on a job by job, project by project and/or site by site basis with arrangements made excluding or in lieu of the an excess travelling time allowance.
giv. It is agreed that the internet website xxx.xxxxxxx.xxx.xx shall be used to determine the ‘shortest route’ for distances between the office or workshop and any site, project or job.
h) Where an employee is required to perform overtime work without provision of 24 hours notice an “overtime meal allowance” shall be paid after the employee has completed 2 hours of overtime. Meal allowance will be paid at a rate as specified in Schedule B (allowances). This meal allowance is paid once in a 24 hour period.
i) Where an employee is required to perform work at a distant location which requires the employee to reside at a place other than their normal residence, the Company and employee may agree on a either: • A living away from home allowance negotiated around Australian Taxation Office Taxation Determination TD 2006/43 - Income tax: what are the reasonable travel and meal allowance expense amounts for 2006-2007 (as amended for 2007-2008); or reimbursement • Reimbursement by the Company of reasonable board and lodgings incurred by the employeeemployee negotiated around Australian Taxation Office Taxation Determination TD 2006/43 - Income tax: what are the reasonable travel and meal allowance expense amounts for 2006-2007 (as amended for 2007-2008).

g) Where an employee Travelling Time Payment to and from Distant Work - An Employee travelling to or from Distant Work shall be paid for the time occupied in such travel at ordinary time rates up to a maximum of 12 hours out of every 24 hours, or where a sleeping berth is provided, a maximum of 8 hours out of every 24 hours.
h) An Employee required to perform work at overtime for more than one and a distant location which requires half hours without being notified on the employee previous day or earlier that he/she will be so required to reside at work, shall either be supplied with a place other than their normal residence, meal by the Company or paid a Meal Allowance as set out in Schedule C, for the first meal and employee for each subsequent meal. Unless the Company advised an Employee on the previous day or earlier that the amount of overtime to be worked will necessitate the partaking of a second or subsequent meal (as the case may be) the Company shall provide such second and/or subsequent meal or make payment in lieu thereof as above prescribed.
i) Employees who are requested to use their private vehicles for Company purposes or relocate to another project after commencement and agree to utilize such vehicle will be compensated by the company for such use. This compensation shall be in accordance with the rate prescribed as “Motor Vehicle Allowance” in Schedule C.
j) The Company and Employee may agree on a living away from home allowance or reimbursement by the Company of for reasonable board and lodgings preauthorised expenses incurred by the employeeEmployee in the course of employment, in accordance with Company policy.
hk) Wages shall be paid weekly on a weekday nominated by electronic funds transfer and be available for withdrawal by the CompanyEmployee not later than 3 days after the end of the pay week, currently Thursday for the week ending on the prior Monday. ef) Where Travel allowance to job sites are governed by the following sub-clauses: There are 3 scenarios possible:
i. Travel to remote job sites within Geographic Map Boundaries either planned or unplanned. • In Scenario 1, Travel Allowance is paid as compensation to an employee commences work who travels to remote job sites within Geographic Map Boundaries and works at least 8 hours, including the time to travel, on these sites. Travel Allowance is a defined allowance expressed in hours, which is based on areas of a geographic map. These hours are paid at the ‘All Purpose Hourly Wage Rates’. To identify boundaries for claim purposes, refer to Schedule E - Geographic Map that is attached. • The normal working day is 8 hours. Travel Allowance is only applicable when it is in excess of your normal working day. Refer to Schedule E – Travel Allowance Scenario Examples that is attached.
ii. Planned Travel to remote job sites outside the Orange Geographic Map Boundary. • In Scenario 2, Travel Time is paid at normal rates to and from the job and the shift starts at the job. • In Scenario 2, other arrangements can be determined on a site project-by-project basis.
iii. Unplanned Travel (or Mercy Dash) to remote job sites outside the Orange Geographic Map Boundary. • In Scenario 3, Travel Time is paid at 1.5 times normal rates to and from the job and the shift starts at the job. • In Scenario 3, a reasonable notice period is agreed to be a minimum of 16 hours. Therefore any notice of less than 16 hours in advance of the departure is considered to be unplanned travel. • In Scenario 2, other arrangements can be determined on a project, as opposed to the Company’s office or workshop, and is not provided with transport to the site or -by-project by the Company, the employee shall receive an ‘excess fares allowance’ as set out in Schedule ‘C’.
f) Where an employee commences work on a site or a project, as opposed to the Company’s office or workshop, the employee shall receive an ‘excess travelling time allowance’ as set out in Schedule ‘C’basis.
g) From time to time dependent upon workload, employees may be re-allocated to a different depot. This re-allocation will be done on a mutually agreed basis.
h) Where an employee is required to perform work at a distant location which requires the employee to reside at a place other than their normal residence, the Company and employee may agree on a living away from home allowance or reimbursement by the Company of reasonable board and lodgings incurred by the employee.
hi) Wages shall be paid weekly on a weekday nominated by the Company. The pay day transfer is submitted on a Wednesday. However, depending on the employee’s nominated bank, their pay may not be available until Thursday morning. Wages due to an employee upon termination shall be paid on the normal weekday pay day.
j) All employees will be paid by Electronic Funds Transfer. The parties agree that electronic passage of pay dockets will be a future development.
k) Each employee is responsible for the accurate and timely completion and submission of time sheets and job records.
l) The wage rates will be reviewed on a 6-monthly. The range of increase will be between 1% and 2.5%. The extent of increase will be based on the individual employee’s contribution to department and overall business goals as assessed by the employee’s supervisor. The individual employee’s performance reviews will be scheduled on a quarterly basis by the Department Managers. In recognition of the importance of the performance reviews being performed as scheduled, should the employee’s review not occur as per the schedule the employee’s hourly rate will increase by the maximum rate. That rate shall apply until a formal review is performed that may amend this rate. The ongoing hourly rate will be dependent upon this review.

eh) Where an employee commences work on a site or a project, as opposed to the Company’s office or workshop, and is not provided with transport to the site or project by the Companytransport, the employee shall receive an a ‘excess fares travel allowance’ as set out in Schedule ‘CB’.
f) Where an employee commences work on a site or a project, as opposed to the Company’s office or workshop, the employee shall receive an ‘excess travelling time allowance’ as set out in Schedule ‘C’.
gi) Where an employee is required to perform work at a distant location which requires the employee to reside at a place other than their normal residence, the Company and employee may agree on a living away from home allowance or reimbursement by the Company of reasonable board and lodgings incurred by the employee:
i. The parties agree that travel allowance is not paid at a fixed rate and may vary from project to project. The Employee should consult with the Company prior to departure to confirm the rate payable for that site or project;
ii. The parties agree that travel allowance payable to an Employee is calculated with reference to the number of nights that an employee is away, not the number of days an employee is away. Under no circumstances, will an employee be paid an away from home allowance for the day they return.
hj) Wages shall be paid weekly fortnightly basis on a weekday day nominated by the Company. Wages due to an employee upon termination shall be paid on the normal weekday pay dayweek payday.

Except in the case where an employee leaves a site or project early for personal reasons that employee will be entitled to 50% of the full shift Fare Allowance. Employees are not entitled to Fares when they start or finish work at the company’s workshop or office or if their normal employment engagement is office or workshop based.
f) Where an employee commences work on a site or a project, as opposed to the Company’s office or workshop, the employee shall receive an ‘excess travelling time allowance’ as set out in Schedule ‘C’. These day rates are applicable for travel up to one hour from the employee’s place of residence in each direction to a site or project. Travel time in excess of one hour in each direction will be paid at normal rates for all days. Where an employee leaves a site or project early for personal reasons that employee will be entitled to 50% of the full shift Travel Allowance.
g) Where an employee is required to perform work at a distant location which requires the employee to reside at a place other than their normal residence, the Company will provided the employee with accommodation and employee may agree on a living away from home allowance meals at the Company’s expense. Daily Meal Allowance is as set out in Schedule ‘C’. The standard of accommodation will generally be individual motel rooms or reimbursement by the Company of reasonable board and lodgings incurred by the employeeshared apartment accommodation with individual bedrooms.
h) Wages shall be paid weekly on a weekday nominated by the Company. Wages due to an employee upon termination shall be paid on the normal weekday pay day.

h) Under no circumstances shall an employee be entitled to the $50 meal and incidental money under Clause 11 g) of this agreement and a meal allowance at the same time, ie the employee shall only be entitled to one or the other.
i) Wages shall be paid weekly by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) on a weekday nominated by the Company. In order to make wage payments Pirita Enterprises Pty Ltd requires all timesheets to be completed and submitted by 12.00pm on Saturdays. If the employer has not received the employee’s timesheets by the prescribed time, this may result in late payment of wages to the employee. Wages due to an employee upon termination shall be paid on the normal weekday pay day.
j) Wages and allowances will be increased annually by 2% to be paid in the first pay of the new financial year or in accordance with the decisions handed down by the Australian Fair Pay Commission (AFPC) whichever is the greatest.
