Uniforms Allowance. (a) Subject to sub-clause (c) of this sub-clause, sufficient suitable and serviceable uniforms or overalls shall be supplied free of cost, to each employee required to wear them. An employee to whom a new uniform or part of a uniform has been supplied by the organisation, who fails to return the corresponding article last supplied, shall not be entitled to have such article replaced without payment for it at a reasonable price, in the absence of a satisfactory reason for the loss of such article or failure to produce such uniform or part thereof. (b) Upon termination, an employee shall return any uniform or part thereof supplied by the organisation, which is still in use by the employee, immediately prior to leaving. (c) In lieu of supplying a uniform where required to an employee, the employer shall pay the employee the weekly allowance set out in Item 11 of Table 2 of Schedule B to this Agreement. (d) In lieu of supplying special-type shoes where required to an employee, the employer shall pay the employee the weekly allowance set out in Item 12 of Table 2 of Schedule B to this Agreement. (e) In lieu of supplying a cardigan or jacket where required to an employee the employer shall pay the employee the weekly allowance set out in Item 13 of Table 2 of Schedule B to this Agreement. (f) In lieu of supplying stockings where required to a female employee the employer shall pay the employee the weekly allowance set out in Item 14 of Table 2 of Schedule B to this Agreement. (g) In lieu of supplying socks where required to an employee the employer shall pay the employee the weekly allowance set out in Item 15 of Table 2 of Schedule B to this Agreement. (h) If, in any facility, the uniforms of an employee are not laundered at the expense of the facility, the sum per week set out in Item 16 of Table 2 of Schedule B to this Agreement shall be paid to the said employee. Provided that the payment of such laundry allowance shall not be made to any employee on absences exceeding one week. (i) An employee who works less than thirty-eight hours per week shall be entitled to the allowances prescribed by this clause in the same proportion as the average hours worked each week bears to thirty-eight ordinary hours. (j) Each employee whose duties require them to work out of doors shall be supplied with overboots. Sufficient raincoats shall also be made available for use by these employees. (b) Upon termination, an employee shall return any uniform or equipment supplied by the organisation, which is still in use by the employee, immediately prior to leaving. (c) In lieu of supplying a unique uniform, the employer shall pay the allowance at Schedule B.
Uniforms Allowance. Beginning in July 2013 and every July thereafter, County Fire agrees to provide a lump sum uniform allowance of four hundred and fifty dollars ($450.00) to employees in regular positions to compensate for costs associated with the purchase of uniform and clothing items as established by the department. The department specified uniform will include the appropriate footwear and comply with OSHA and other required standards. Employees on a leave of absence without pay in the pay period in which the uniform allowance is paid, shall receive the uniform allowance upon return to paid status. An employee separating from County Fire employment at the conclusion of the leave of absence shall not receive the uniform allowance.
Uniforms Allowance. A uniform allowance of $165.00 per annum will be paid on a pro-rata basis each pay day.. A flat laundry allowance of $3.70 per fortnight shall be paid. The employer shall not be required to pay uniform allowance on any hours of work as defined in clause 9.5 (Overtime) nor Clause 8.5.7 (On-call/Re-call – Maintenance Employees). (d) Where an Employee is required by the Employer to wear a uniform and the uniforms are not laundered at the expense of the Employer, the sum per week set out in Item 5 of Table 2 of Schedule B to this Agreement will be paid to the Employee, provided that the payment of such laundry allowance will not be paid on any leave. (e) An Employee who works less than 38 hours per week will be entitled to the allowances prescribed by this clause in the same proportion as the average hours worked each week bears to 38 ordinary hours.
Uniforms Allowance. 1. Police Officers shall receive one thousand dollars ($1,000) each year for uniform and equipment purchases. One-fourth ( ¼) of such sum be due and payable at the end of each three (3) months of employment. 2. Communication Officers shall receive one thousand ($1,000) each year for uniform and equipment purchases. One-fourth (¼) of such sum will be due and payable at the end of each three (3) months of employment. 3. Regular part time employees will receive the same uniform allowance as regular full-time employees.

Uniforms Allowance. Effective November 1, 2021, and November 1st of each year thereafter, employees who are required to wear uniforms as a condition of their employment shall receive the indicated total annual allowance: Harbor Patrol Officers $1050.00 Park Service Rangers $1050.00 Airport Operations Officers $800.00 Unit employees shall wear their respective uniforms while on-duty and shall maintain them so as to present a professional (clean/un-wrinkled/un-torn) appearance. Employees who terminate prior to November 1 in any year shall not be eligible to receive any allowance for that year. Newly hired employees shall be provided an initial uniform allowance on their first paycheck. Such payment shall be pro-rated based on the newly hired employee’s month of hire (based on a year commencing November 1 and ending on October 31). For example, an employee who is hired and begins employment with the County in September would be paid an initial uniform allowance of two-twelfths (2/12) of the full allowance amount. Sec. 804 PERSONAL PROPERTY REIMBURSEMENT POLICY:
