Warning/Reprimand. If an APT member is to be formally warned or reprimanded, the member will be invited to a meeting, in writing with a copy to the Faculty Association. The notice of the meeting shall include sufficient detail to allow the APT member to respond and shall remind the APT member of the right to have an Association representative present. A letter from the Director or equivalent stating the reason(s) for the written warning or written reprimand will be given to the APT member. A copy will be sent to the Director or Human Resources, and will become part of the member’s official file. In accordance with Article 6.7 an APT member may add a written comment to the file, if desired.

  • Anonymous Complaints When an anonymous complaint, where the complaint, if true, would not or could not lead to criminal charges, is made against a member and no corroborative evidence is obtained through a prompt investigation by management, the complaint shall be classified as unfounded. No disciplinary action may be brought as the result of unfounded complaints.
