Written Warning or Written Reprimand. (a) The disciplinary record of an employee, including letters of reprimand or warning shall not be used against him/her at any time after eighteen (18) months, provided there have been no further infractions during that eighteen (18) month period following the last disciplinary event. After that eighteen (18) month period, letters and reports shall be removed.

Written Warning or Written Reprimand. If an employee believes that any written warning or written reprimand is unfair, unjust or inaccurate, the employee may appeal within 15 calendar days after notification in writing to their District or Division Commander, who shall promptly schedule a Discipline Panel pursuant to Section 6. The decision of the Discipline Panel shall be final.

  • Written Reprimand A written reprimand may be issued to an employee when appropriate in keeping with provisions of this Article. Such written reprimand shall be dated and signed by the supervisor/designee before it is provided to the employee. If the employee chooses not to sign to acknowledge receipt of the reprimand, it shall be witnessed to document that the employee received the same. Such reprimands shall be filed in the affected employee’s personnel file.

  • Written Warning If the employee again commits the same or similar violation within the specified period (or possibly an unrelated infraction), the employee will be given a written warning which will be placed on his/her personnel file.
