WASHINGTON STATE PAID FAMILY LEAVE. In addition to the federal Family Medical Leave highlighted above, eligible workers may access Washington State’s Paid Family Medical Leave. The effective date to utilize Washington State Paid Family Medical Leave is January 1, 2020. The Employer’s HR Department will provide employees with eligibility requirements and other information needed to access this leave.
