Where the President cannot provide a guarantee of a reasonable job offer, the President will provide 120 days to opting employees to consider the three Options outlined in Part VI of this Appendix before a decision is required of them. If the opting employee fails to select an option no later than the 120th day, the employee will be deemed to have selected Option (a); that is, the Twelve-month surplus priority period in which to secure a reasonable job offer.
Where the President confirms the recommendation of the URC, she shall communicate her decision in writing to the candidate, with copies to the URC, the Vice-President (Academic), the Chair of the DRC, the candidate's Xxxx, and the President of the Association within ten (10) working days of receiving the recommendation of the URC.
Where the President of the Association is a member of the academic staff (administrative and professional), references in the foregoing sub-clauses to “sabbatical fellowship” and “Article 16” shall be interpreted to mean “professional fellowship” and “Article 17”.

Where the President. Operations Manager or Owner are named in a complaint. The employee can provide the complaint to the Union Representative for referral to the appropriate investigator as determined by the parties.
Where the President confirms the recommendation of the URCL, she shall communicate her decision in writing to the candidate, with copies to the URCL, the Vice-President (Academic), the Chair of the Librarians' Review Committee, the University Librarian, and the President of the Association within ten (10) working days of receiving the recommendation of the URCL.
Where the President considers it appropriate a decision of the Council may take the form of a resolution in writing signed by a majority of the members of the Council within the period stated by the President.
