Wildlife Liaison. ‌ The primary responsibility of the Wildlife Liaison is to ensure that all branch activities are coordinated with the various other sections within the Incident Command. A number of Wildlife Branch activities overlap the Environmental Unit, the Joint Information Center, the Logistics Section, Natural Resource Damage Assessment activities, and Safety office. It is important that these groups maintain continuous communication with one another to avoid overlap and confusion. The Wildlife Liaison is also responsible for ensuring that the various state and federal agencies, tribes, and volunteer organizations coordinate with branch activities, including Canadian provincial and federal agencies in the case of a transboundary spill.

  • Wildlife CAMPER is aware that the remote area where the Stoney Creek Property is located contains wild animals and insects, including venomous snakes, poisonous insects, and other poisonous fauna and flora. CAMPER is also aware that the behavior of such wildlife is unpredictable. CAMPER is further aware emergency medical attention may not be available and that CAMPER is solely responsible for maintaining an adequate supply of medication on my person to treat any and all allergic reactions CAMPER may have to insect bites and stings or the touching of certain plant life. CAMPER assumes and accepts all the risks and dangers of participating in the Program and the possibility of personal injury, death, property damage or other loss as a result, whether due to the risks described above, any other risk, my health or otherwise, except the risk of the sole negligence of SCR, as defined above. CAMPER agrees that, although STONEY CREEK and the Personnel may take precautions to reduce the risks and increase the safety of participating in the Program and to determine whether a particular path is safe from certain of the risks described above before it is traversed, it is not possible for STONEY CREEK or the Personnel to make participating in the Program totally safe. CAMPER accepts these risks, except for the sole negligence of SCR, as defined above, and agrees to the terms of this Participation Waiver. Furthermore, I consent to give my child, as defined above, permission to participate in all activities including, but not limited to, low ropes course, high ropes course, zip line, swimming, kayaking, other water activities, and all indoor and outdoor events and activities. I understand all activities are optional and that my child or I have voluntarily applied to participate in the events and activities of Stoney Creek. I understand the foregoing activities and all other events, hazards or exposures connected with Stoney Creek and the indoor and/or outdoor activities, involve risk of harm and that accidents or illness can occur in places without medical facilities, physicians, or surgeons. I am aware of the risks and damages inherent with those activities and I knowingly assume the risk of injury except injury arising from the sole negligence of SCR, as defined above. In the event of an emergency, CAMPER hereby expressly: (i) grants permission to the physician and/or treatment facility selected by the Personnel to secure and administer treatment, including hospitalization, and

  • Safe Working Environment ACM does everything reasonably possible to provide a safe working environment for all of its stakeholders including Suppliers and its own employees and agents. ACM does not tolerate offensive, abusive, bullying, discriminatory or otherwise unlawful behaviour or any form of harassment (“Offending Behaviour”). If a Supplier engages in Offending Behaviour, ACM may suspend or terminate this Milk Supply Agreement.

  • Workplace Violence Prevention and Crisis Response (applicable to any Party and any subcontractors and sub-grantees whose employees or other service providers deliver social or mental health services directly to individual recipients of such services): Party shall establish a written workplace violence prevention and crisis response policy meeting the requirements of Act 109 (2016), 33 VSA §8201(b), for the benefit of employees delivering direct social or mental health services. Party shall, in preparing its policy, consult with the guidelines promulgated by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration for Preventing Workplace Violence for Healthcare and Social Services Workers, as those guidelines may from time to time be amended. Party, through its violence protection and crisis response committee, shall evaluate the efficacy of its policy, and update the policy as appropriate, at least annually. The policy and any written evaluations thereof shall be provided to employees delivering direct social or mental health services. Party will ensure that any subcontractor and sub-grantee who hires employees (or contracts with service providers) who deliver social or mental health services directly to individual recipients of such services, complies with all requirements of this Section.

  • Safety Orientation All Employees shall be certified in Safety Orientation. Safety Orientation shall consist of three parts: PART 1 - the CODC Interactive Rights and Responsibilities course (renewal required after five years), PART 2 - the XXXX course (renewal required after five years) or equivalent and PART 3 - Employer or Owner Project Specific Training. Workers being dispatched to an Employer must have obtained certification in PART 1 and PART 2. As a condition of employment each Employee must maintain certification in Part 1 and Part 2. Foremen must obtain certification in either the CODC Better SuperVision course or the UA Foremen course (including completion of the classroom component, Leadership for Safety Excellence and the on-the-job course field evaluation report). This course is to be completed within the first year of being promoted to the xxxxxxx position. Employees shall not be on the payroll or paid while receiving this training. The Employer will not be required to pay for either course. Employees shall not be on the payroll or paid while receiving PART 1 & 2 training. All other costs for registration, certification or any other costs related to the training and certification in the CODC Interactive Rights and Responsibilities course, the XXXX course or equivalent shall be paid for by the Union or by the Educational Trust Fund. The Employer or Owner shall provide to each Employee before commencing work with PART 3 - Employer or Owner Project Specific Training. Each Employee shall be on the payroll and paid while receiving PART 3 training. The CODC Harassment Policy and Procedures, including the provisions regarding General Harassment and as amended from time to time shall be the minimum standard of this agreement.
