Common use of Workplace Relations Training Leave Clause in Contracts

Workplace Relations Training Leave. ‌ In order to encourage cooperative workplace relations and facilitate the operation of this agreement, an Employee who makes a request to their Employer to attend training in workplace relations, dispute resolution or grievance management may, with the Employer’s approval, be granted up to five (5) days’ paid leave per annum for attendance at such training, provided that the granting of such leave will not unduly affect the Employer’s operational requirements. The Employer will not unreasonably refuse the granting of such leave.
