WORKPLACE SAFETY INSURANCE BOARD. When an employee is absent owing to incapacity and an award has been made by the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board, the employee shall receive the difference between the nurse’s salary and the amount of such award to the extent of the nurse’s accumulated sick leave credits, or in the event an employee does not have sick credits to the extent of the nurse’s short term disability plan entitlement, such amount or amounts to be deducted from the employee`s accumulated sick leave credits, or from the employee’s entitlement under the short term disability plan.
