WSIB. When an employee is absent due to a workplace accident and is in receipt of Workplace Safety and Insurance Benefits, the Corporation will make up the difference between the benefit allowance and the employee's net pay. At no time is the benefit top up to exceed 100% of the employee's net pay. The top up amount will be debited by the appropriate number of hours from the employee's sick leave credits. Employees returning to work from a workplace accident shall be required to submit medical documentation satisfactory to the Corporation from a duly recognized practitioner verifying that the employee is able to return to work.
