YEAR ROUND EDUCATION. Unit members assigned to a newly designated year-round education site who request a transfer shall be given first consideration for other vacancies in the Agency within their classification upon request. A traditional year schedule employee whose position becomes designated as a year-round education position and who elects not to continue in the position will have bumping rights according to seniority. The vacant position will first be flown in-house for interested applicants. Unit members not assigned to year-round education sites whose most recent evaluation contains an overall rating of satisfactory or better may request to be placed on the substitute list for their off-duty days. Unit members called to serve as substitutes will receive their regular rate of pay if they substitute in their own classification. If the employee substitutes in a classification in which he/she has previously served, he/she shall receive the regular rate of pay for that classification. If the employee substitutes in a classification in which he/she has not previously served, he/she shall receive the regular substitute rate.
