Abuse of power means a situation where a relevant staff member exploits a position of power in relation to a student so as to apply pressure in a way which:

Abuse of power means the abuse of a position of power in order to harm other people, to bully them or place them at a disadvantage, or in order to procure personal advantages for oneself or one’s favorites.

• Abuse of power may also include conduct that creates a hostile or offensive work environment which includes, but is not limited to, the use of intimidation, threats, blackmail or coercion.

Abuse of power means any situation where a public official (including civil servants, persons in an elected position, or other appointed officials), uses his position or takes advantage of his position in order to carry out a wrongful act.
