Academic personnel definition

Academic personnel means presidents, provosts, vice‑presidents, deans, teaching and research staffs, and others of academic rank employed by the State educational institutions of higher learning, or medical institutions of education and research.

Examples of Academic personnel in a sentence

  • Academic personnel have the obligation to protect and preserve, for a reasonable period (defined by the norms of the discipline), and to make available to other scholars and non-commercial users, the data on which their work is based.

  • Academic personnel of the University" includes all individuals defined in the University Statutes as members of the University faculties and other academic personnel, as well as faculty emeriti, lecturers, deans, assistant deans, directors of institutes and academic programs, and those holding academic positions in the Laboratory Schools.
