Additional Occupant or “Additional Occupants”)
Additional Occupant means an occupant whose addition to the unit has increased the total number of occupants above the base occupancy level. Additional Occupant. An individual who, after the Resident takes Occupancy, applies and is accepted for Occupancy to the Community to occupy a Residence with a current Resident. These Residents may be referred to as Co-Residents. AMORTIZATION: To provide for the gradual reduction in an amount over time on a scheduled periodic basis. APPROPRIATE PLACEMENT COMMITTEE: The Committee, appointed by the Community, to monitor, among other things, the ability of the Resident to satisfy the Conditions of Occupancy of the Residence. APPLICATION DEPOSIT: Refundable down payment applied to Entrance Fee payment; this fee must be paid prior to being assigned a specific Residence. The deposit is credited towards the total Entrance Fee. ASSIGNMENT OF INSURANCE: The granting of authority to the Community to apply for and collect insurance benefits from the Resident’s insurance carrier(s) for services furnished to the Resident or on the Resident’s behalf by the Community. CANCELLATION FEE: The fee assessed by the Community for Termination of Agreement for reasons other than death of the prospective Resident prior to Designated Occupancy Date but after the Rescission Period of seven (7) days. This fee is five percent (5%) of the total Entrance Fee.

Examples of Additional Occupant in a sentence

  • This Agreement is not transferable to an Additional Occupant, even if the Additional Occupant is a UCSF Affiliate.

  • If Tenant or Additional Occupant breaches any term of this Agreement or policy or regulation of the University or The Regents, the University may serve Tenant with any of the following notices, whichever is applicable: a 3-Day Notice to Pay Rent or Quit; a 3-Day Notice to Perform Covenant or Quit; a 3-Day Notice to Pay Rent and Perform Covenant or Quit; a 3-Day Notice to Quit, or such other notice permitted by law.

  • If Tenant is locked out of the Rental Property, Tenant or Adult Additional Occupant listed in Section 1.1, above, may check out a temporary key at no cost from Housing Services during regular business hours.

  • A service animal or an assistance animal that assists a Tenant with a disability, Additional Occupant named in Section 1.1 with a disability, or Child named in Section 1.1 with a disability is permitted to reside in the Rental Property.

  • UCSF will not enter into a new agreement with any Additional Occupant for this Rental Property, even if the Additional Occupant is a UCSF Affiliate.

  • Except as otherwise stated below, UCSF will issue one duplicate set of keys for each Adult Additional Occupant listed in Section 1.1. Upon Tenant's request, University may issue Tenant a set of keys at no additional cost for each Child, provided that the Child is at least 12 years old.

  • Any Adult Additional Occupant may check out a temporary key set for two (2) business days or may obtain lock-out services, even in the absence of permission by Tenant.

More Definitions of Additional Occupant

Additional Occupant includes persons sharing the Lot pursuant to California Civil Code § 798.34, such as a guest, companion, live-in caregiver, or family member under the care of a senior.
