Advanced Enrolled Nurse definition

Advanced Enrolled Nurse means a person enrolled by NMBA as such, who holds an Advanced Diploma of Nursing, has specialist skills and five years or more post qualification experience, who is utilising those specialist skills in their role and who satisfies the local criteria. Local criteria will be established by the Employer.
Advanced Enrolled Nurse. Means a person enrolled by the Board as such, who holds an Advanced Diploma of Nursing, has specialist skills and experience in a particular field, who is utilising those specialist skills in their role and who satisfies the local criteria, or such other experience or qualifications deemed acceptable bythe employer. Local criteria will be established by each hospital.
Advanced Enrolled Nurse. Means an employee who is registered by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse who has a minimum of three years post graduate experience and is required to perform with direction and supervision provided by the Registered Nurse in the stream of clinical management, research and staff development delegated by the team leader / medical manager that will include elements of, but not confined to the following:

  • Enrolled Nurse means an employee:

  • Enrolled student means a person that has officially registered with the school or school district and is taking part in the educational program.

  • Advanced emergency medical technician or “AEMT” means an individual who has successfully completed a course of study based on the United States Department of Transportation’s Advanced Emergency Medical Technician Instructional Guidelines (January 2009), has passed the psychomotor and cognitive examinations for the AEMT, and is currently certified by the department as an AEMT.

  • Advanced registered nurse practitioner or “ARNP” means a person who is currently licensed as a registered nurse under Iowa Code chapter 152 or chapter 152E who is licensed by the board as an advanced registered nurse practitioner.

  • Dependent care assistance program or "DCAP" means a benefit plan whereby school employees may pay for certain employment related dependent care with pretax dollars as provided in the salary reduction plan under chapter 41.05 RCW pursuant to 26 U.S.C. Sec. 129 or other sections of the Internal Revenue Code.

  • Eligible educational institution means that term as defined in section 529 of the internal revenue code or a college, university, community college, or junior college described in section 4, 5, or 6 of article VIII of the state constitution of 1963 or established under section 7 of article VIII of the state constitution of 1963.

  • Medicare benefit means the Medicare benefit payable within the meaning of Part II of the Health Insurance Act 1973 with respect to a professional service.

  • Nursing home-type patients means a patient who has been in hospital more than 35 days, no longer requires acute hospital care, cannot live independently at home or be looked after at home, and either cannot be placed in a nursing home or a nursing home place is not available.

  • Enhanced 911 Service (“E911”) means a telephone communication service which will automatically route a call dialed “9-1-1” to a designated public safety answering point (PSAP) attendant and will provide to the attendant the calling party’s telephone number and, when possible, the address from which the call is being placed and the Emergency Response agencies responsible for the location from which the call was dialed.

  • Advanced practice nurse means a person who holds current certification as nurse practitioner/clinical nurse specialist from the State Board of Nursing.

  • Approved abuse education training program means a training program using a curriculum approved by the abuse education review panel of the department of public health or a training program offered by a hospital, a professional organization for physicians, or the department of human services, the department of education, an area education agency, a school district, the Iowa law enforcement academy, an Iowa college or university, or a similar state agency.

  • Enrollee means any person entitled to health care services from a carrier.

  • Advanced Services refers to high speed, switched, broadband, wireline Telecommunications capability that enables users to originate and receive high-quality, voice, data, graphics or video Telecommunications using any technology.
