Advanced Practice Provider definition

Advanced Practice Provider means a type of Allied Health Professional who provides a medical level of care or performs surgical tasks consistent with granted clinical privileges, but who is required by law and/or the Hospital to exercise some or all of those clinical privileges under the direction of, or in collaboration with, a Supervising Physician.
Advanced Practice Provider or "APP" means those physician assistants, advanced practice registered nurses, and other allied health professionals, as designated in the APP Policy, who have applied for and/or been granted Privileges to practice at the Hospital either independently, or in collaboration with or under the supervision of a Physician, Dentist, or Podiatrist, as applicable, with Medical Staff appointment and Privileges at the Hospital.
Advanced Practice Provider or “APP” means an individual identified and described in Article VI, Section 0 of the Medical Staff Bylaws.
