Approved Personal Computer definition

Approved Personal Computer means an IP-enabled desktop or laptop device with a hard drive or embedded/on-board flash storage, keyboard and monitor, designed for multiple office and other applications using a silicon chip/microprocessor architecture. An Approved Personal Computer must support one of the following operating systems: Windows XP, Windows 7, Mac OS, subsequent versions of any of these, and other operating system agreed in writing with Licensor. In addition, an Approved Personal Computer shall support the Approved Delivery Means, meet the Content Protection Requirements set forth in Schedule C and implement the Usage Rules.
Approved Personal Computer means an individually addressed and addressable IP-enabled desktop or laptop device with a hard drive, keyboard and monitor, designed for multiple office and other applications using a silicon chip/microprocessor architecture. An Approved Personal Computer must support one of the following operating systems: Windows XP, Windows 7, Mac OS, subsequent versions of any of these, and other operating system agreed in writing with Licensor. An Approved Personal Computer must implement the Usage Rules and must support the Approved Internet Format, the Approved Closed Internet Delivery and complies with the Usage Rules and the Content Protection Obligations and Requirements set forth in Schedule C. Approved Personal Computers shall include laptop computers but do not include game consoles, set-top-boxes, portable media devices (such as the Apple iPod), PDAs and mobile phones, or any device running an operating system designed for portable or mobile devices, including, without limitation, Microsoft Smartphone, Microsoft Windows CE, Microsoft Pocket PC and future versions thereof.
Approved Personal Computer means an individually addressed and addressable IP-enabled desktop or laptop device with a hard drive, keyboard and monitor, designed for multiple office and other applications using a silicon chip/microprocessor architecture. An Approved Personal Computer must run on one of the following operating systems: Windows XP, Windows 7, Mac OS, and subsequent versions of the foregoing, and any other operating system as may be approved in writing by Licensor from time to time (“Permitted PC OS”), implement the Usage Rules, support the Approved Transmission Means and satisfy the Content Protection Requirements. Approved Personal Computer shall not include game consoles, set-top-boxes, portable media devices (such as the Apple iPod), PDAs or mobile phones or any device that runs an operating system other than a Permitted PC OS.9

  • Personal Computer means an IP-enabled desktop or laptop device with a hard drive, keyboard and monitor, designed for multiple office and other applications using a silicon chip/microprocessor architecture – and shall not include any Mobile Phones or Tablets. A Personal Computer must support one of the following operating systems: Windows XP, Windows 7, Mac OS, subsequent versions of any of these, and other operating system agreed in writing with Licensor.

  • Personal Computer(s) means computers based on a microprocessor generally designed to be used by one person at a time and which usually store informational data on that computer’s internal hard drive or attached peripheral. A personal computer can be found in various configurations such as laptops, net books, and desktops.

  • Commercial computer software means software developed or regularly used for non-governmental purposes which—

  • Excluded Personal Property means the following:

  • Service Equipment means any equipment, Software, systems, cabling and facilities provided by or on behalf of Verizon and used to facilitate provision of the Services at a Customer Site. Ownership of the Service Equipment does not pass to Customer. Service Equipment does not include Verizon Facilities.

  • Personal service means professional or technical expertise

  • Detailed telecommunications billing service means an ancillary service of separately stating information pertaining to individual calls on a customer's billing statement.

  • Information Service Traffic Traffic delivered to or from an Information Service Provider for the provision of Information Service. ISP-Bound Traffic is a subset of Information Service Traffic. Inside Wire or Inside Wiring: Wiring within the customer Premises that extends to the Demarcation Point of CenturyLink’s outside plant. Inside Wire is owned or controlled by the End User (unless otherwise specified herein or under Applicable Law).

  • Personal care means the provision of hands-on services to assist an individual with activities of daily living.

  • Custom Local Area Signaling Service Features (CLASS) means certain call-management service features that are currently available from SBC-13STATE’s local networks. These could include: Automatic Call Back; Automatic Recall; Call Trace; Caller Identification and related blocking features; Calling Number Delivery; Customer Originated Trace; Distinctive Ringing/Call Waiting; Selective Call Forward; and Selective Call Rejection.

  • Business reply mail envelope means an envelope that may be mailed free of

  • aerodrome control service means air traffic control service for aerodrome traffic;

  • Personal protective equipment means all equipment worn to minimize exposure to hazards, including gloves, masks, face shields, foot and eye protection, protective hearing devices, respirators, hard hats, and disposable gowns and aprons.

  • Electronic and Information Resources Accessibility Standards means the accessibility standards for electronic and information resources contained in 1 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 213.

  • Personal Services means “the performance of any work or labor and shall also include acting as an independent contractor or providing any consulting advice or assistance, or otherwise acting as an agent pursuant to a contractual relationship.”

  • Customer Proprietary Network Information (“CPNI”) is as defined in the Act.

  • Assisted cleaning or washing of tangible personal property means cleaning or washing of tangible personal property if the cleaning or washing labor is primarily performed by an individual:

  • Customer Personal Data means the personal data contained within the Customer Data.

  • Service Drop means a cable that, by its design, capacity and relationship to other cables of the Company, can be reasonably considered to be for the sole purpose of connecting backbone of the Equipment to not more than one individual customer or building point of presence or property;

  • Noncommercial computer software means software that does not qualify as commercial computer software under paragraph (a)(1) of this clause.

  • Information processing system means an electronic system for creating, generating, sending, receiving, storing, displaying, or processing information.

  • Service Areas means those areas within the Building used for stairs, elevator shafts, flues, vents, stacks, pipe shafts and other vertical penetrations (but shall not include any such areas for the exclusive use of a particular tenant).

  • Personal Grievance means a claim that an employee: (a) Has been unjustifiably dismissed; or (b) has had his/her employment, or his/her conditions of employment, affected to (c) his/her disadvantage by some unjustifiable action by the employer; or (d) has been discriminated against in his/her employment; or (e) has been sexually harassed in his/her employment; or (f) has been racially harassed in his/her employment; or (g) has been subjected to duress in relation to union membership.

  • Personal use means for the private use of the individual

  • Covered contractor information system means an information system that is owned or operated by a contractor that processes, stores, or transmits Federal contract information.
