Authorized Overrun Service or “AOS” means the daily service entitlement available, on the terms and conditions set out in Section 2.06, to a Shipper as an attribute of each Firm Transportation Service – Northern and Firm Transportation Service – Southern specified in a Service Agreement between the Shipper and Westcoast.
Authorized Overrun Service or "AOS” means the right of Firm Shippers to be allocated a pro rata share of capacity on the pipeline that is not, from time to time, contracted for as Transporter’s Contracted Capacity with any allocation to Firm Shippers to be made pursuant to Article 2.7 and Article 2.8 of the Toll Schedule Firm Transportation Service and subsequent to such allocation means the Shipper’s share of such capacity.
Authorized Overrun Service means service provided when the quantities of Gas nominated and confirmed for transportation by Shipper on any Day are in excess of its currently effective MDQ, to the extent such quantities are scheduled under Section 6 of these General Terms and Conditions.

Except as otherwise agreed by the Parties, Shipper shall also pay MEP Authorized Overrun Service ("AOS") rates as set forth in Article 2.3 below.
A firm shipper may nominate Authorized Overrun Service in excess of Shipper’s Contracted Capacity.
