Basic Charge definition

Basic Charge means the customer charge applied to customers in the Domestic Rate Group, as differentiated for single-family and multi-family residences.
Basic Charge means a volumetric unit charge for the cost of water service other than any fixed costs that are recovered through meter charges or other fixed charges other than incremental costs that are recovered through conservation charges. A basic charge may include the cost of generally applicable conservation measures assumed in establishing basic use allocations.
Basic Charge means the fixed charge required to be paid by a Customer for Services during a prescribed period in the amount specified in the Rate Schedule;

Examples of Basic Charge in a sentence

  • This service will be provided to each Occupant and is included in the Basic Charge.

More Definitions of Basic Charge
