BES Software definition

BES Software. Means the software known as the ‘BlackBerry Enterprise Server Software’ and which, when installed on Customer’s Server of the required Server Specification, forms part of the End-User Licensed Software for the purposes of using the BlackBerry Service.
BES Software means the software known as the BlackBerry Enterprise Server Software and which forms part of the End-User Licensed Software for the purposes of this Agreement.
BES Software means the RIM proprietary server software, which is designed to integrate with and provide a consolidated link between corporate application servers (such as email servers) and the Handheld Products provisioned to operate with such RIM proprietary server software.

  • You acknowledge and agree that to the extent that You or Your End Users access the Hosted BES Software, the Hosted BES Software is part of the Customer’s BlackBerry Solution, defined as “Your BlackBerry Solution” under the BBSLA.

  • If the BES Software is used to wirelessly provision and synchronize a Handheld Product, the Desktop Software is not a required part of the BlackBerry Solution and provides optional desktop management functionality.

  • The BlackBerry Enterprise Software includes a level of encryption data security for communications between Your Handheld Product and the computer system on which the BES Software is installed.

  • The BES Software communicates with Handheld Products using push-based encrypted wireless data transmission.

  • Company in no way represents or acts as an agent of RIM in the provision of the Hosted BES Software or any other RIM Product.

  • Telefonica will not provide copies of BES Software to the Customer on physical media, but will make the software available for the Customer to download.

  • Xband Enterprises in no way represents or acts as an agent of RIM in the provision of the Hosted BES Software or any other RIM Product.

Related to BES Software

  • Embedded Software means one or more software applications which permanently reside on a computing device.

  • Hosted Software means: (a) Hosted NCR Voyix Software; and (b) Non-NCR Voyix Software provided by a third party as a hosted software application or cloud service and for which Customer purchases a subscription through NCR Voyix pursuant to an Order (“Non-NCR Voyix Hosted Software”).

  • Custom Software means Software identified as such in Appendix 4 of the Contract Agreement and such other Software as the parties may agree in writing to be Custom Software.

  • Customer Software means software which is owned by or licensed to the Customer;

  • Third Party Software means software which is proprietary to any third party (other than an Affiliate of the Contractor) which is or will be used by the Contractor for the purposes of providing the Services.

  • Computer software means computer programs, source code, source code listings, object code listings, design details, algorithms, processes, flow charts, formulae, and related material that would enable the software to be reproduced, recreated, or recompiled. Computer software does not include computer databases or computer software documentation.

  • Standard Software means Software identified as such in Appendix 4 of the Contract Agreement and such other Software as the parties may agree in writing to be Standard Software.

  • Open Source Software means any Software that is subject to or licensed, provided or distributed under, any license meeting the Open Source Definition (as promulgated by the Open Source Initiative as of the date of this Agreement) or the Free Software Definition (as promulgated by the Free Software Foundation as of the date of this Agreement) or any similar license for “free,” “publicly available” or “open source” Software, including the GNU General Public License, the Lesser GNU General Public License, the Apache License, the BSD License, Mozilla Public License (MPL), and the MIT License.
