Casual or Temporary Basis definition

Casual or Temporary Basis means employment which has an anticipated duration period of less than six months. Persons employed under these terms are not appointed to positions under the plan of establishment, are not considered employees, and are not covered by the terms of this agreement until they have met the requirements of employee under the Public Service Labour Relations Act.

  • Temporary beer event permit means a permit issued in accordance with Chapter 9, Part 4, Temporary Beer Event Permit.
