Closing Firm definition

Closing Firm means any bank, depository institution, escrow agent, title company, law firm, or other business, whether public or private, that employs, or contracts for the services of, an LPO for the purpose of providing real or personal property closing services for a transaction.
Closing Firm means any bank, depository institution, escrow agent, title company, or other business, whether public or private, that employs or contracts for the services of a certified closing officer for the purpose of providing real or personal property closing services.

Examples of Closing Firm in a sentence

  • Within two(2) days of notice from the Closing Firm, Seller shall pay for the Closing Letter as instructed by the Closing Firm.

  • Seller’s failure to follow the instructions of the Closing Firm may cause a delay in Closing and/or result in additional fees being charged to Seller.

  • A title report shall be provided to the Purchaser by the Closing Firm as identified in paragraph 8 of this agreement.

  • The Board may authorize examinations of the books and records of any LPO or Closing Firm selected at random.

  • If the number drawn is that of an LPO who is an employee of a Closing Firm, the Closing Firm shall be examined.

Related to Closing Firm

  • Selling Firm has the meaning given to it in Section 2(1);

  • Lobbying firm means any business entity, including an individual contract lobbyist, which meets either of the following criteria:

  • Selling Firms has the meaning specified in section 5.1;

  • Accounting Firm means a nationally recognized certified public accounting firm or other professional organization that is a certified public accounting firm recognized as an expert in determinations and calculations for purposes of Section 280G of the Code that is selected by the Company prior to a Change in Control for purposes of making the applicable determinations hereunder and is reasonably acceptable to Executive, which firm shall not, without Executive’s consent, be a firm serving as accountant or auditor for the individual, entity or group effecting the Change in Control.

  • Consulting Firm has the meaning set forth in Section II.A.4.

  • CPA Firm has the meaning set forth in Section 4.1(d)(iii).

  • sponsoring firm means the firm registered in a jurisdiction of Canada on whose behalf an individual acts as a dealer, an underwriter, an adviser, a chief compliance officer or an ultimate designated person;

  • Pre-FIRM means construction or other development for which the “start of construction” occurred before the effective date of the initial Flood Insurance Rate Map.

  • Audit Firm means a firm which provides audit services;

  • Clearing Firm or “Clearing Member” means an entity or individual meeting the requirements of, and approved for, clearing membership at the Clearing House that is authorized pursuant to the Clearing House Rules to clear trades in any or all of the Contracts and that meets the qualification of the Exchange pursuant to Rule 902. A Clearing Firm is authorized to access Eris Exchange to effect transactions. A Clearing Firm may trade for its own proprietary account or an account on behalf of its Customer (e.g., as a broker). A Clearing Firm may trade on behalf of a Customer with an account at a different Clearing Firm acting as a broker or performing an equivalent agency function. The different Clearing Firm is responsible for approving the Clearing Firm for such Customers pursuant to a Clearing Participant Letter of Guarantee. The term “Clearing Firm” collectively refers to all Authorized Traders of a Clearing Firm authorized to utilize Eris Exchange.

  • Selected Firm means the firm who is selected by the City and to whom the City Council/City Manager awards a contract for the services or commodities requested in this solicitation.

  • Independent Accounting Firm has the meaning set forth in Section 2.05(c).

  • Independent Firm has the meaning set forth in Section 10.03 of this Agreement.

  • Post-FIRM means construction or other development for which the “start of construction” occurred on or after the effective date of the initial Flood Insurance Rate Map.

  • Valuation Firm means a nationally recognized independent investment banking or valuation firm with expertise in the oil and gas sector.

  • Sellers’ Representative has the meaning set forth in the Preamble.

  • Seller’s Representatives means Seller’s accountants, employees, counsel, environmental consultants, financial advisors, and other representatives.

  • Purchaser’s Counsel means Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx LLP.

  • Purchaser’s Representatives shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Section 6(a) herein.

  • Seller Representative means Xxxxx Bank.

  • Buyer Representatives means the Buyer's accountants, counsel, environmental consultants, financial advisors and other authorized representatives.

  • Certified Firm means a small business certified under ORS 200.055 by the Oregon Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity (COBID) as minority-owned businesses, woman-owned businesses, businesses that service-disabled veterans own, and emerging small businesses.

  • Seller Representatives has the meaning set forth in Section 5.8(a).

  • Purchaser Representative means any person who satisfies all of the following conditions or who the issuer reasonably believes satisfies all of the following conditions:

  • Buyer’s Representatives means Buyer, any direct or indirect owner of any beneficial interest in Buyer, and any officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives and attorneys of Buyer or any such direct or indirect owner of any beneficial interest in Buyer.

  • Closing Agent means the attorney, real estate firm, or closing company that is closing the cash sale qualifying purchase transaction and that prepares the cash sale settlement statement.
