Continuation Member definition

Continuation Member means a member who is admitted to membership in terms of Rule 6.2 and 6.3, who has all the rights and obligations of any other member.

Continuation Member. , shall mean:

Continuation Member means an existing spouse who becomes the Policyholder after the death of the original Policyholder.

Examples of Continuation Member in a sentence

• On attainment of age (50) fifty, the Member will be entitled to become a Continuation Member in terms of Rule 6.2.1.5. For the purpose of this Rule, a person will be unemployed if he/she is unable to generate the means needed to be self-supporting through formal employment or self-employment.

• Dependents eligible for ELCA- Primary Benefits will have the same ELCA-Primary Option as the Sponsored Member, Retired Member or Coverage Continuation Member who is enrolled in an ELCA-Primary Option.

• A Retired Member or Coverage Continuation Member may choose from Medicare Supplement Benefit Options for the following calendar year during an annual enrollment period designated by the Plan or for the remainder of the calendar year upon new eligibility for ELCA Medicare-Primary Benefits midyear.

• Should a Continuation Member in this category become liable to payservice fees and/or site levies they shall paythe full subscription.

• A Retired Member or Coverage Continuation Member may choose from ELCA Medicare-Primary Medicare Supplement Benefit Options for the following calendar year during an annual enrollment period designated by the Plan or for the remainder of the calendar year upon new eligibility for ELCA Medicare-Primary Benefits midyear.

• ASponsored Member, Retired Member or Coverage Continuation Member who is enrolled in ELCA Medicare-Primary Benefits will choose, in accordance with the procedures established by Portico Benefit Services, the ELCA-Primary Option for Dependents who are not eligible for ELCA Medicare-Primary Benefits.

• Dependents eligible for ELCA-Primary Benefits will have the same ELCA-Primary Option as a Sponsored Member, Retired Member or Coverage Continuation Member who is covered by an ELCA-Primary Option.

• A Sponsored Member, Retired Member or Coverage Continuation Member who is covered by ELCA Medicare-Primary Benefits will choose the ELCA-Primary Option for her or his Dependents who are not eligible for ELCA Medicare- Primary Benefits in accordance with the procedures established by Portico Benefit Services.

Continuation Member means a member or dependant as the case may be who continues as a member in terms of Rules 7.3, 7.4 ,7.5.1 and 7.5.2

Continuation Member means a Member who retains his membership of the Fund after he retires from the service of a Recognised Institution or whose employment is terminated by a Recognised Institution because of age, ill health or other disability, or a surviving Dependant who becomes the Principal Member after the death of the original Principal Member;

Continuation Member means a member who retains his or her membership of the medical aid fund after retirement or the termination of employment due to age, ill-health or other disability, or a surviving dependant who becomes the principal member after the death of the original principal member;

Continuation Member means an active member, an associate member or an affiliate member who retires on attainment of the pension age, or who retires earlier due to ill health, and elects to continue his/her membership of the Union for the purpose of participating in any funds of the Union established in pursuance of Clause 4(9), and pays the subscriptions and fees prescribed in Clause 6(1) and 6(3) hereof, provided that:

Continuation Member means a Member who retires from the service of a Recognised Institution or whose employment is terminated by a Recognised Institution because of age, ill health or other disability.

Continuation Member means a person who was an employee or working employer in the Hairdressing Trade and who retired from the Hairdressing Trade after 15 years of continuous membership of the Hairdressing Trade Sick Benefit Fund;
