Continuation Member definition

Continuation Member means a member who is admitted to membership in terms of Rule 6.2 and 6.3, who has all the rights and obligations of any other member.
Continuation Member. , shall mean:
Continuation Member means an existing spouse who becomes the Policyholder after the death of the original Policyholder.

  • On attainment of age (50) fifty, the Member will be entitled to become a Continuation Member in terms of Rule 6.2.1.5. For the purpose of this Rule, a person will be unemployed if he/she is unable to generate the means needed to be self-supporting through formal employment or self-employment.

  • ASponsored Member, Retired Member or Coverage Continuation Member who is enrolled in ELCA Medicare-Primary Benefits will choose, in accordance with the procedures established by Portico Benefit Services, the ELCA-Primary Option for Dependents who are not eligible for ELCA Medicare-Primary Benefits.

  • Dependents eligible for ELCA-Primary Benefits will have the same ELCA-Primary Option as a Sponsored Member, Retired Member or Coverage Continuation Member who is covered by an ELCA-Primary Option.

  • A Sponsored Member, Retired Member or Coverage Continuation Member who is covered by ELCA Medicare-Primary Benefits will choose the ELCA-Primary Option for her or his Dependents who are not eligible for ELCA Medicare- Primary Benefits in accordance with the procedures established by Portico Benefit Services.


More Definitions of Continuation Member

Continuation Member means a member or dependant as the case may be who continues as a member in terms of Rules 7.3, 7.4 ,7.5.1 and 7.5.2
Continuation Member means a Member who retains his membership of the Fund after he retires from the service of a Recognised Institution or whose employment is terminated by a Recognised Institution because of age, ill health or other disability, or a surviving Dependant who becomes the Principal Member after the death of the original Principal Member;
