Continuous Shift definition

Continuous Shift means a shift in a continuous operation, as permitted by the Minister in terms of section 15(1);
Continuous Shift. , means work carried on with consecutive shifts of employees throughout the twenty four hours of each of at least six consecutive days without interruption, except during breakdowns or meal breaks, or due to unavoidable causes beyond the control of the employer.

More Definitions of Continuous Shift

Continuous Shift means work carried on with consecutive shifts of persons throughout the 24 hours of each of at least 7 consecutive days without interruptions except during breakdowns or meal breaks or due to unavoidable causes beyond the control of the employer.
