AFA shall procure, at its own costs and expense, the services of one or more off-duty School District Police Officers, at AFA’s sole cost and expense, to provide proper supervision and security of the Facilities at all times during Customary Business Hours and Special Events.
AFA shall have responsibility over the day-to-day operation of the Facilities and all activities carried out by AFA thereon during Customary Business Hours.
At all times, the Village and the School Board, or any of their agents, representatives or employees, shall have the right to enter the Facilities during Customary Business Hours to examine same or to make such repairs, additions or alterations as may be deemed necessary for the safety, comfort or preservation of the Facilities, provided such activities do not unreasonably interfere with AFA’s use of the Facilities.
The Village and AFA agree that AFA shall not use the Facilities prior to, or after, the Customary Business Hours.
AFA shall operate the Facilities in an efficient, first class and reputable manner, consistent with similar athletic facilities in the Miami area and shall, except during reasonable periods for repairs, major maintenance, Special Events (as defined below) and closures for Force Majeure Events, keep the Facilities open to the public for business during Customary Business Hours except to the extent AFA may be prohibited from being open for business by Applicable Law.
AFA shall ensure the safe and secure operation of the Facilities during Customary Business Hours, as the Village and the Board may reasonably require.
