Demands definition

Demands means the respective inspection demands for books and records made by stockholders, Rita Azrelyant and Lydia Grech, on Inovio pursuant to 8 Del. C. § 220 and the joint litigation demand made by the Stockholders on the Board.

  • Agent for Service of Process means every person now or hereafter appointed by the Contractor to be served or to accept service of process in any State of the United States. The Contractor will instruct each Agent for Service of Process that after such agent receives the process, summons, or complaint, such agent shall promptly send it to the Contractor. This subsection (ii) does not apply while the Contractor maintains a registered agent in North Carolina with the office of the N. C. Any agreement, instrument or statute defined or referred to herein or in any agreement or instrument that is referred to herein means such agreement, instrument or statute as from time to time, amended, qualified or supplemented, including (in the case of agreements and instruments) by waiver or consent and (in the case of statutes) by succession of comparable successor statutes and all attachments thereto and instruments incorporated therein. References to a person are also to its permitted successors and assigns.
