Design Stage definition

Design Stage has the meaning given in Part I of this Schedule 1;
Design Stage means the “Design Stage” referred in the

More Definitions of Design Stage

Design Stage means the stage composed of conceptual design, overall design, initial design, technical design and construction drawing design, as applicable.
Design Stage means the period of time during which the design of a project is prepared but does not include the design of temporary works by the contractor to facilitate construction of the project;

  • Design Criteria Package means concise, performance-oriented drawings or specifications for a public construction project. The purpose of the Design Criteria Package is to furnish sufficient information to permit Design-Build Firms to prepare a bid or a response to the District’s Request for Proposals, or to permit the District to enter into a negotiated Design- Build Contract. The Design Criteria Package must specify performance- based criteria for the public construction project, including the legal description of the site, survey information concerning the site, interior space requirements, material quality standards, schematic layouts and conceptual design criteria of the project, cost or budget estimates, design and construction schedules, site development requirements, provisions for utilities, stormwater retention and disposal, and parking requirements applicable to the project. Design Criteria Packages shall require firms to submit information regarding the qualifications, availability, and past work of the firms, including the partners and members thereof.

  • New Work means any Services/Deliverables outside the scope of the Contract and not specifically provided under any Statement of Work, that once added will result in the need to provide the Contractor with additional consideration.

  • Sign structure means the assembled components that make up an outdoor advertising display, including, but not limited to, uprights, supports, facings, and trim. A sign structure may contain 1 or 2 signs per facing and may be double-faced, back to back, T-type, or V-type.

  • Design-build contract means a single contract with a Design-Build Firm for the design and construction of a public construction project.

  • drainage work means any watercourse and includes any land which is expected to provide flood storage capacity for any watercourse and any bank, wall, embankment or other structure, or any appliance, constructed or used for land drainage or flood defence;

  • TENDER SPECIFICATIONS means the Scope of Work, Special Instructions / Conditions, Technical specifications/requirement , Appendices, Site Information and drawings pertaining to the work and any other relevant reference in the Tender Document for which the Bidder are required to submit their offer.
