Designated Public Holiday definition

Designated Public Holiday means Christmas Day and New Years Day and Good Friday (Easter Friday).

However, with respect to licensed public accountants, the “practice of public accounting” shall not include attest or auditing services or the rendering of an opinion attesting to the reliability of any representation embracing financial information.

  • Legal Holiday means a Saturday, a Sunday or a day on which banking institutions in the City of New York or at a place of payment are authorized by law, regulation or executive order to remain closed. If a payment date is a Legal Holiday at a place of payment, payment may be made at that place on the next succeeding day that is not a Legal Holiday, and no interest shall accrue on such payment for the intervening period.

  • Geneva Convention means the Convention of 28 July 1951 relating to the status of refugees, as amended by the New York Protocol of 31 January 1967;

Determination of an accountant’s independence shall not be confined to the relationships existing in connection with the filing of reports with the awarding authority.

  • Place of public accommodation means any building or structure in which goods are supplied or services performed, or in which the trade of the general public is solicited.

  • International Financial Reporting Standards means the accounting standards and interpretations adopted by the International Accounting Standards Board.

  • Holiday means the twenty-four (24) hour period commencing at 0001 hours of a day designated as a paid holiday in this Agreement.

  • Generally accepted auditing standards means Canadian Generally Accepted Auditing Standards as adopted by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants applicable as of the date on which such record is kept or required to be kept in accordance with such standards.

  • RFR Banking Day means any day specified as such in the Reference Rate Terms.

  • Board of Commissioners means a county board of commissioners.

  • Society Act means the Society Act of the Province of British Columbia from time to time in force and all amendments to it;
