Dining Dollars definition

Dining Dollars are monies that can be loaded onto a student/resident’s RebelCard and used to purchase food and other sundry items at certain campus Dining Services locations, as well as to purchase additional meals at the Dining Commons. Dining Dollars associated with the RA meal plan will be calculated at a pro-rated basis upon release of employment due to termination or resignation. If an RA has used more Dining Dollars than the daily prorated amount, they will be charged the difference.
Dining Dollars. All undergraduate, on-campus students, enrolled in 12 hours or more will participate in the mandatory Dining Dollar Program. A $135 fee is charged to student accounts automatically when the 12 hour criteria are met for the Fall or Spring semester. Beginning the 2015/16 academic year, Dining Dollars are valid until July 31st of each academic year for any semester a student is actively enrolled. *Dining Dollars can only be used for food or merchandise purchases. Merchant gift cards are not eligible for purchase with Dining Dollars.

  • Any fall semester Dining Dollars that were carried over to the spring semester are forfeited and non-refundable if you cancel your spring Meal Plan.

  • Dining Dollars are valid during the academic year of purchase only.

  • Members may bring guests using their guest passes, Dining Dollars, Flex Dollars, ID Bucs, credit card or cash only.

  • All Freshmen On Campus Meal Plans come with Bonus Meals and Dining Dollars automatically.

  • This can be done by downloading the MyUSF app and selecting the Bulls Bucks button (this will show Dining Dollars balance).

  • Any unused Dining Dollars from the Fall semesters will rollover to the Spring semester with the purchase of a Spring Meal Plan (excludes Dining Dollar Only Plans).

  • Meals will not be available during school breaks (i.e. Thanksgiving, Winter Break and Spring Break); however, Dining Dollars, ID Bucs, Flex Dollars, credit or cash will be accepted at any retail dining locations that are open for the break.

  • Unused Spring Dining Dollars will be forfeited at the end of the semester.

  • During Spring Break students may use the Dining Dollars portion of their meal plan at dining facilities which are open during that week.

  • When using Dining Dollars you receive a 5% discount on your purchase.
