Examples of E-Verify in a sentence
Upon each Contractor or subcontractor new hire, the Contractor must provide a statement within five (5) calendar days to the Contract Manager identifying the new hire with its E-Verify case number.
The Contractor must also include a requirement in subcontracts that the subcontractor must utilize the E-Verify system to verify the employment eligibility of all new employees hired by the subcontractor during the Contract term.
The Status Verification System is defined in 25 O.S. §1312 and includes, but is not limited to, the free Employment Verification Program (E-Verify) available at www.dhs.gov/E-Verify.
The Contractor must use the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s E-Verify system to verify the employment eligibility of all new employees hired during the term of the Contract for the services specified in the Contract.
As used herein, “status verification system” means the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigration Responsibility Act of 1996 that is operated by the United States Department of Homeland Security, also known as the E-Verify Program, or any other successor electronic verification system replacing the E-Verify Program.
